Mervyn Peake: Centenary Conference, July 2011 - A Call for Papers. Participating in this conference organised by the English and Creative Writing Department of Chichester University, will be several writers and academics. Apart from Michael Moorcock, a committed champion of Mervyn Peake for over half a century, there will be the writer Joanne Harris, equally passionate about the Titus Trilogy.

Alice Exhibition at Sheffield University
On 30th June an exhibition in the renovated Western Bank Library of Sheffield University will display some of my father's illustrations for Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Made available by the British Library, the drawings will be shown to their full advantage within the modernised surroundings of an exhibition space first opened in 1959 by T.S.Eliot. The beautifully presented and catalogued show will run for three months.
2010 Parkinson's Awards

Carlos Ruiz Zafron in The Guardian
