The British Library, which acquired the Mervyn Peake archive in the spring of 2010, have just announced a wide-ranging series of exhibitions and talks to be held during this centenary year. A selection of drawings, manuscripts and notebooks from the archive will be on display, with lectures held in the conference centre.

About Me
- Name: Sebastian Peake
Regular readers of this blog will be familiar with the energy and detail which Sebastian used to keep us up-to-date with any news of his father's work, particularly during the centenary year, 2011. His sudden death has been a great shock to his friends and family but the promotion of his father's work will continue under the guidance of his brother and sister, Fabian and Clare. I worked with Sebastian on the blog and will continue to add details of events and new publications as well as any other news when it becomes available. Alison Eldred
