Gormenghast in the City of London
A new production of John Constable's Gormenghast play is now showing at the Bridewell Theatre in London, EC4Y 8EQ. Directed by Andrew Marchant and produced by Sedos, the City of London's premier amateur theatre company, there's much more information to be found on the link as well as booking details. We wish the company well and hope that the production is a successful one.
And now we can show you some photos of the show, on Flickr. Andy Marchant says;
"Two very special people attended last night's opening of Gormenghast: John Constable, who wrote the stage adaptation of the Mervyn Peake trilogy, and David Glass, the commissioning director of the original production 20 years ago - see above. It was an honour to meet them and chat about the show. Thanks for coming! Gormenghast runs all week at the Bridewell Theatre."
