I was turned on to Gormenghast about 15 years ago. One of my favorite trilogy's of all time.
The visual images are Awesome.
I read it again about five years ago just to refresh my memory of the place & the characters. I've been looking over the main website Etc... & now i see Mervyn Peake was much more then Gormenghast.
I am in awe.

I was lucky enough to sit in on a rehearsal of 'The Wit to Woo.' I can honestly say that although it was unfinished it was amusing and will obviously turn out to be a must see play. I will definitely be going to see this excellent performance and would encourage others to see it too.

I second the excellence pf The Play and would certainly be going to see it if I wasn't directing it! Darn! You'll be glad to know that it is now much more finishedand just about ready to hit the stage!
See you there
