The New York based stained glass artist, Joseph Cavalieri, has produced a very attractive montage in glass to fulfil a commission from a Peake fan. Aspects of Gormenghast have been incorporated into the work that include the Countess's cats, the outer dwellers houses, and the castle seen in the background as a looming presence.

Regular readers of this blog will be familiar with the energy and detail which Sebastian used to keep us up-to-date with any news of his father's work, particularly during the centenary year, 2011. His sudden death has been a great shock to his friends and family but the promotion of his father's work will continue under the guidance of his brother and sister, Fabian and Clare. I worked with Sebastian on the blog and will continue to add details of events and new publications as well as any other news when it becomes available. Alison Eldred

i am rather curious to know if the entire house is on the same theme..
The apartment has a excellent variety of tasteful art, but not all in one theme. I could totally see this panel hanging in a Medieval castle!
