Titus Awakes by Maeve Gilmore
Today (15th January) The Daily Telegraph dedicated a half page to the recent find by Christian, my middle daughter of Titus Awakes, my mother's conclusion to the Titus books.
In the G2 section of The Guardian on Monday 18th January, there will be both an article and photographs relating Titus Awakes to be published in 2011, the centenary of my father's birth.

What absolutely wonderful and fantastic news!
This is absolutely the best news. I can't wait for it. Mervyn Peake was a genius, and I absolutely believe his talents will continue to grow in people's opinions as the years press on. From what I've read, your parents' love for each other was the enduring, inspiring kind, and Maeve Gilmore's conclusion to the Titus saga will no doubt prove to not only fitting, but enormously beautiful.
