An outline programme of the Peake Conference to take place at Chichester University during the weekend of the 15th July 2011, is now available. To be called Mervyn Peake & The Fantasy Tradition: A Centenary Conference, it has been organised by the English & Creative Department of the University of Chichester, and will feature several well-known writers and others.

Regular readers of this blog will be familiar with the energy and detail which Sebastian used to keep us up-to-date with any news of his father's work, particularly during the centenary year, 2011. His sudden death has been a great shock to his friends and family but the promotion of his father's work will continue under the guidance of his brother and sister, Fabian and Clare. I worked with Sebastian on the blog and will continue to add details of events and new publications as well as any other news when it becomes available. Alison Eldred
