Constable & Robinson will be publishing Clare Peake's memoir of her parents in May 2011. The youngest of Mervyn and Maeve Peake's three children, Clare recalls her early life in Surrey and Kensington and the death of her father when she was only nineteen. Viewed from a very different perspective from that of her brothers, Under a Canvas Sky recounts a life full of amusing anecdotes and stories set against the tragic background of her father's premature demise in 1968.

The Sunday Books - Les Livres du Dimanche
An idea of mine which began life nearly a decade ago, has now been brought to colourful and swashbuckling life, courtesy of le geant des lettres anglaises, Michael Moorcock, Jean Luc Fromental, head of Denoel, one of France's most prestigious publishing houses, and of course the artist. Available from October, the book is filled with pirates, animals, and the very wackiest of creations from my father's imagination. Published as a graphic novel, there are over sixty pages of drawings to delight both young and old.
